Race day starts here
HYROX Training
Whether it's your first HYROX event or your fastest, the demands are the same: strength, endurance, power, and the work capacity to hold all three together for an hour. Our HYROX-inspired training builds every one of them.
Start Training for Race DayMovement quality first. Then everything else.
HYROX punishes athletes who train hard without training well. Eight kilometers of running broken up by sled pushes, sled pulls, burpee broad jumps, and lunges will find every compensation you have. We look at how you move before we ask you to move heavy or move fast.
From there we build progressively: the strength to move the sled, the conditioning to recover between stations, and the resilience to get through a training block without breaking down. Twenty-five years of coaching has made the order clear. Skip the first part and you pay for it in the last one.
What HYROX Training Includes
Race-Specific Strength & Conditioning
Every session maps back to a demand of the race. We train the movement patterns and energy systems the course actually tests, not a generic strength program with conditioning bolted on the end.
Running Endurance & Pacing
Eight one-kilometer runs, each one entered with tired legs. We build the aerobic base to hold pace deep into the race and the pacing strategy to know what that pace should be.
Sled Push & Sled Pull
The two stations that end more races than any others. We train the leg drive, body position, and grip strength that keep the sled moving when your heart rate is already at the ceiling.
SkiErg & Rowing Technique
Efficiency on the ergs is free speed. Better technique means the same split at a lower cost, which leaves something in the tank for the stations that come after.
Carries, Lunges, Wall Balls & Burpees
Farmer's carries, sandbag lunges, wall balls, and burpee broad jumps, trained under fatigue and drilled through the race-specific transitions that connect them.
Testing & Progress Tracking
We benchmark where you start and retest as you go. Station splits, run times, and strength markers tell us what's working and what needs to change before race day, not after.
Personalized Coaching at Any Level
Every workout is scaled to your current fitness and your goal. The person training for their first finish line and the person chasing a podium are running different programs, not the same one at different volumes.
Wherever You Are in the Sport
Your First Race
The goal is to finish strong and enjoy it. We get you comfortable with every station, build the engine to link them together, and take the guesswork out of what race day feels like.
Doubles
Racing with a partner changes the strategy. We train the work-to-rest split, the handoffs, and the stations where one of you should carry more of the load.
Chasing a Qualifier
Personal bests and World Championship spots come down to minutes found in transitions, pacing, and the stations you've been avoiding. We find them and train them.
